Fowey Hall Hotel
Brief description of hotel:
Grab crab lines and wellies and run down to the beach. Walk winding ancient lanes in search of secret shops. Take to the coast, explore the coastal path, or sink into the outside hot tub overlooking the estuary. Whether you’re looking for rest and relaxation, or excitement and adventure, you’ll find them all in Fowey.
Rooms and facilities:
Opt for bunk beds, Z-beds, cots or sofa beds – our 36 rooms include 12 family rooms and plenty of interconnecting bedrooms, so you can choose the perfect accommodation to suit your family’s needs. All of our bedrooms now feature The White Boutique Hotel Luxury Mattresses from The White Company, helping our guests to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating night’s sleep, so they wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day's adventures.
Childcare facilities and activities-
VILPs (Very Important Little People) are warmly welcomed, with a range of facilities and activities to keep them amused. After all, happy children equal happy parents! For each day of your stay, children can enjoy two hours’ complimentary childcare in our Four Bears Den. We can also provide babysitters at an additional cost – just contact our Den team for more details.
Our library contains over 700 children’s books (thought to be the largest collection in any UK hotel), along with plenty of great reads for grown-ups. In this room, relax and while away a comfortable hour; sink-in-deep sofas and elegant reading chairs create a true country house atmosphere. Here, you’ll also find a collection of vintage photography and prints, which tell the fascinating story of Fowey Hall, from private mansion to luxury hotel.
Games room and cinema room-
For children that dream of their own games room, ours is packed with hours of
entertainment. There’s classic family fun like table football and pool, plus vintage-style arcade games such as Pac Man. Our cinema boasts luxurious beanbags to relax on, with a range of family films to choose from – perfect for rest days or low-key evenings.
Spa and swimming pool-
Our spa isn’t the exclusive reserve of grown-ups but a space for all, where zoned areas
ensure everyone finds what they’re looking for. Enjoy family time splashing around in the indoor pool, ‘me time’ for pampering in one of our treatment rooms, and couple’s time chilling out in the hot tub with views over the ocean.
Outdoor play areas-
While you relax on the terrace with a pot of tea and the papers, children can be bounding around exploring our five acres of grounds. Here they’ll find a Wind in the Willows-themed play area, complete with a zip line, bucket swing, slide and ‘springer’ lily pads.
Electric car charging-
If you’re an eco-friendly driver, you can top up your electric car at our on-site POD Point – whether you’re a guest or simply passing by. To use the charger, you’ll need the POD Point app, which you can find on their website. If you need any help charging your car, pop into reception and we’ll happily give you a hand.
